Ryan, Brown, Berger & Gibbons, P.C. was founded in July 1997 by four attorneys whose collective experience in civil litigation in Philadelphia and its surrounding metropolitan area spans more than a century. Drawn by a common vision and shared experience, the members of our firm have a stated mission to provide the highest quality of representation with a practical approach and sensitivity to legal costs. Our attorneys have represented both defendants and plaintiffs in civil and commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts throughout the United States. Its trial lawyers, mentored by our late founding partner, Daniel Ryan, annually try to verdict an extensive number of cases in various forums. Each case is meticulously prepared to be tried to a jury but the Firm's lawyers frequently avail alternative dispute resolution to control exposure, contain costs, and secure a practical outcome. Ryan, Brown, Berger & Gibbons, P.C. has earned an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell each year since its inception, the highest rating given.

The Firm's primary concentration is civil litigation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, enabling its attorneys to stand at the forefront of new developments in the law. The Firm's attorneys provide continuing legal education to other members of the bar. The Firm's attorneys regularly handle commercial, construction, entertainment, health care, motor vehicle, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional liability and transportation litigation. Our size and structure permits each client to receive personal attention throughout the litigation process from a shareholder of the Firm. Our principal office is located in Center City, Philadelphia but our office in Montgomery County provides even greater convenience for serving clients throughout eastern Pennsylvania.

Ryan, Brown, Berger & Gibbons, P.C.'s attorneys provide counsel to our clients for insurance coverage matters, preparing advice and opinions on matters of bad faith, defense exclusions, endorsements and new policy issues. We represent numerous major national insurance carriers, as well as corporate self-insurers who utilize the firm as regional or national coverage counsel. In addition, the Firm assists its insurance clients in property and bodily injury subrogation matters.

The Firm's attorneys also maintain a vigorous appellate practice, including serving as preferred appellate counsel for several major national insurance carriers in Pennsylvania.
